Zito will be forever associated with the A's, Money Ball, and the Days of the Big three……and after spending multiple years in both leagues he has beaten every team in the majors, except one…..his original team……not really a big surprise when you consider how often he actually faces the A's and he has spent most of his time in a Giants uniform sucking Donkey farts….but that all changed today, as Zito continued to answer his critics with another solid start and his first win versus the Mount Davis A's

TIP OF THE CAP :
WILSON
Big time Wilson, came in for other tough save…..based juiced and 1 out in the 8th and came through big time….. today's performance makes up for that CSN Life of Brian series last year….almost

URIBE
Continues to buck all trends….getting less and less hacky as time goes on…..swinging at less than 50% of the pitches he sees….he hasn't finished a year under 50% since 2003 with the Rockies….

BURRELL
You liking this guy yet? In combination with Huff Posey and Torres, the whole lineup has a difference complexion this year…..

TORRES
Scored the first run and knocked in the second……and early runs are big for a team that is used to prolonged slumps with the bat…..don't believe in momentum?? Well, I believe early runs relax the pitcher and the offense….and with a bunch of players that seem to get inside their own heads…..relaxing can be all the difference

OK, this isn't funny anymore…. someone PLEASE update the pic on his MLB player page
not exactly Howry territory, but that is two times in 3 games that Mota has been ineffective in a close late situation……allowing opponents a 0.333 ave and 1.000 ops in those high leverage situations….compared with .233 and 0.517 OPS in all other situations……lets hope its just chance, and he isn't a headcase….and there is reason to hope, his career leverage splits are non existent….as to say, there is not difference……

Huff hasn't been given enough love by me here…..so time to give him his due of course we all know that I have been saying all along that Huff would be not only a power threat but a solid .300 hitter with a OBP nearing .400 and play solid D all over the field but seriously, did anyone think he could play a solid Left, solid 1st and be the Giants Walk and (qualified) Batting Average leader this far into he season?? This guy is all kinds of ballplayer and could end the year with the Giants best offensive numbers…..throw that in with LaRoche's reluctance to come to SF and Huff's I will play anywhere you put me attitude, I think we actually got the best outcome from what looked like an offseason debacle….and don't be surprised if you see the Burrell Torres Huff Outfield alignment at home….sure it might not be our best defensive outfield alignment…..but I won't be surprised if Huff actually does a solid job in right as well…..

First of all, can someone PLEASE update the pic on his MLB player page
Mota's been having a hell of a year, but today in the setup role it all fell apart….gave up some hard hit balls to begin the inning before settling down with the go ahead run on 3rd and no outs……got a quick liner to short for the first out and on a little bouncing comebacker that would have held the runner at 3rd……well….Mota whiffed……not sure what happened there….a little twitch, double clutch, and a whiff…..he looked like Micheal J Fox trying to field grounders…..and that certainly makes him the JOKER

Well, in relief of Wellemeyer, he did his best impression of Todd…..I know one pitcher that won't be taking that rotation spot anytime soon

When he is hitting bombs, making ridiculous baserunning plays and spraying line drives….when he is hitting like a sissy, and missing signs….well…..he is just a fatass……all offseason we talked about his weight when Pablo would rather talk about hitting….well, right about now, Pablo would probably prefer to talk about his weight…..man, tough being a big leaguer…get 2 hits and they are still on your ass……

WELLEMEYER
With friends and family in attendance, the pressure was on…..Todd took the easy way out and got hurt instead of getting spanked……

LEAKE
Lost in the frustration of the loss,…a Giants offense that actually just handed Phenom Leake with his worst major league start so far…..too bad they couldn't hang that first L on him too
