GAMEBALL and JOKER ==> GIANTS at BREWERS 07/08

After losing their last 5 series in a row, and coming off a horrible ending to the series in Colorado…the Giants entered Milwaukee for a 4 game set……the scene of two of the most embarrassing losses of the 2009…..you had Wilson getting the shit kicked out of him losing a newly minted 2 run lead on a walk off Fielder double….and then in the last regular season meeting you had the infamous Fielder proclaiming himself a Beautiful Flower Blooming walk off homer celebration…..so who saw this coming???/ A four game sweep in their house???... come on now, this is pretty fucking sweet…..Fuck the Brewers, Fuck Milwaukee and their miserable city, Fuck Miller Genuine Apple Juice, and Fuck Laverne and Shirley……the only thing I can think of that would be better is if we mixed in a Fielder bean ball and Huff ending his home run trot in the 3rd at home plate by pulling down his pants and dropping a steaming deuce on homeplate while pointing at Fielder at first……now THAT woulda been sweet

Well, I can forgive him for not dropping a deuce…..pretty sure that would garner a suspension…..but perhaps he could parlay that into a Charmin endorsement …what he did drop was 4 RBI's including the first 3 runs of the game….and man I can't believe this guy……0-2 pitch in on the hands and he short arms it over the fence in right…..man, either the ball is flying or this guy has insane power…..lets hope it’s the later……and ever notice that the cheaper the contract the better the signing……1 Year…$3M……he keeps this up and I would be happy to give him a 3 year……just not a Rowand type contract…..

The second half of today's offensive attack….Set the table with a single in front of Huff's two run shot, and then knocked in a couple of his own with a 2 run double in the fourth….and then scored on a Huff Sac Fly……like Huff, better than I expected on both offense and defense……and doing a good job of making the Glass Freddy tag a memory…..

POSEY
He wasn't quite done in Milwaukee……and hit a bomb to Right Center on a 85MPH fastball, that easily cleared the fence…..man, this guy has WAY more power with the wood bat than people gave him credit for……now I just wonder where we are going to put the statue…..

Another multi hit game……maybe Baggs should challenge his manhood more often….

So far so good, and a big 2 innings today…and the first pitcher of the day to throw strikes consitenly…..

Zito dropped at least 4 on camera F Bombs in the 5th….which is about 0.0001% of the F Bombs I have dropped watching him pitch the last 3 1/2 years…..The two biggest barometers to watch is fastball velocity, and walk count…..well the velocity has been there all year and was there again tonight……but the control was all over the place walking 6 through 4 2/3rd….this is the 3rd time he has had at least 5 walks in a game this year…..and his walk numbers are high, but not quite as bad as they were a couple years ago……..no, he's not ace we saw in April….and honestly, I am glad he was pissed off coming out of that game……the last thing I wanna see is a player like him brush it off like its no big deal……
