Yeah, I'm fucking pissed…… the Giants had a chance to put their fucking throat on the goddamn Phillies necks and they just couldn't get it done…..now if I take a step back and realize that the Giants are coming home for 3 and are still in a very good position to get the job done….maybe I can relax a little….what's done is done……but goddamn, when you have a close game and a chance to go up 2-0 versus a dangerous opponent……you do everything you go to do to get that win…….

Again WAS the Giants offense……another Homer……a walk………the two outs made were a hard hit ball to deep center and a K looking on a full count trying to draw a walk with the Giants down by 5…..good work Cody, but can you spread some of that magic around the clubhouse??? These guys look like they could get no-hit in tee-ball…..sure Oswalt was dealing, but he is hittable and even a few baserunners early in the game could have shifted the momentum……but good god, when didn't even get a chance to suck with runners in scoring positions……but I digress….this is Cody's world, we just live in it……

TIP OF THE CAP :
SANCHEZ
One hitter had some success today…..a sharp grounder through the left side and a line drive to center was about a potent as our Non Cody offense got……

SANCHEZ
Following in the footsteps of Wilson and Timmy, was all over the place…..but was able to get off the hook nearly every time…..nasty stuff had the Phillies swinging and missing all night…and he recovered from his early shakes and pitched through the botched popup…....and kept that nasty Phillie offense while he was in the game……

TAKEO SPIKES
Was true to his word, the Georgia native and lifelong Braves fan was seen in a Giants hat in postgame…..a little easier now that the Braves were sent home….of course if I was a Braves fan I would be pissed…..

DESEAN JACKSON
Electric Philly Wideout went down hard with a head injury……no one wants to see that, even if they are playing for Philly…….and plus he's a Cal Bear…….get well soon……..and no, he's not on my fantasy football team…..

DEFENSE

FUCK…..this is NOT how a championship team plays…just fucking bush league……wild throw in the 1st from Fontenot……Huff doesn't come off the bag to make a play and gets lucky when it hits the runner…….and hell, Huff has played enough first base to know to come off the bag and give it a swipe…..maybe he gets him, I don't know……but this is the fucking playoffs…..you make these plays or go home……and we're not done yet…..but when you let the jackrabbit Rollins lead off the inning with a dropped popup in the middle of the goddamn diamond???? I think the bulk of that has to be on Fontenot for not taking charge…..but some of that goes to Sanchie for not yelling something……but the killer was the cutoff from Huff……the throw was good and on target with time for Posey to make a play……but Huff makes the instinctive play looking at the runner and the 3rd base coach……can't really blame him for that, but somebody has to be fucking helping him out…..he can't see Oswalt going……man…..just fucking bush league……we were in a close one and we let the Phillies pull away…….and good god, will someone move Fontenot off 3rd…..he is lost over there, even Pablo with his 1 miscue that cost us in Game 2 of the NLDS would be an improvement over this shit….the guy is miscast as a 3rd baseman…..yes, I know he played over 300 innings at 3rd for the Cubs in 09-10…but guess what….the Cubs fucking suck………

His control was the death of him tonight…..walking in the run in the 1st after a couple walks and an error…..and then running up high pitch counts early in the game made for an 7 inning hook after a single to the opposing pitcher…….and once Sanchez was out, the merry go round began……

Good god, do ALL the umpires suck? I mean really, I am not where the strike zone was half the time….good god, seems like they have gotten worse in the postseason…..

TORRES
Man, he is dragging…..he is swing so late I am not sure if he is swinging late on the last pitch or early on the next pitch…..he was THE MAN when the Giants were scuffling for runs this year…..things have gotten so bad that some Giants fans are seriously calling for Rowand in the lineup……yes, seriously……

Gave up the single to Polanco to plate Oswalt

Well…..lets just say he's lucky that ball didn't get out…..

When things go bad, the Manager usually catches some heat……and maybe there was no way out of there……but I got to say when you intentionally walk 2 in an inning and they both score…..well, you picked the wrong matchup……personally I was thinking Affeldt v Rollins……but you coulda done Casilla v Werth…..instead with the bases juiced and the wild Casilla down 2-0 to Rollins and the bases juiced……well, he got a fastball…..give Rollins some credit, it was a good fastball at the knees…..but still, everyone in a 3000 mile radius knew what was coming…….
