Who the fuck is this guy??? Off year last year, coming to a park that kills lefties…..no way we could expect this… I mean go ahead shot clean into the water??? what the fuck?? That’s 11 dings in June which leaves him 4 short of his season total in 2009… and 2007….sure he had that 30+ HR season in 2008, but that looks like a career season for an aging slugger when looked at in context of his season stats…..at age 33 all indicators were down…..but Huff has turned around as fast as that breaking ball from Guthrie…..rejuvenated by winning?? sure makes a nice story, and makes him look like a team guy…..and you know….I can believe that…..I know how hard losing is as a fan…..can you imagine if you are a player that don't give a shit about the back of your baseball card or your next paycheck……yeah, ok maybe it is bullshit…..but whatever Huff is doing…..keep doing in right into October…….

Not sharp again….but nowhere near as shaky as a few starts ago…..seems to be slowing putting it back together…..another Cy Young may be a stretch…..but with a semblance of an offense behind him……lets see if Tim can get 20 W's……and screw the Cy Young Trophy…..lets get this kid a ring……hey, I can dream………

1 inning, 1 hit, 2 walks, 3 K's……..ok, it was spread out over two innings…..but what a line…..Minton, Brantley, and Garrelts would be proud……

WILSON
Don't look now…..but look at these two #'s……41 K's and 29 1/3rd innings……if that’s not elite, I don't know what is……

DENNIS THE USHER
Made a brilliant play on a broken bat from Sanchez in the first….and yes Krukow, Dennis has been known to catch "spears and missles" out of the sky

OK, now running out a ball is one thing…..but how in the hell do you pass a runner on the bases when you are basically jogging and he is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU….I can't put that one on 1st base coach Kelly… Pablo is dazed out watching the fly ball as he rounds 1st and URIBE IS RIGHT IN HIS FIELD OF VISION…..its not like he didn't see him and ran past him….or even saw him too late and couldn't stop…he didn't even fucking notice until he was PAST Uribe and already out……6 year old tee ball players around the country are shaking there head at you Pablo……get out of your own noggin and back in the game……and of course the 0 fer 4… (not a hit in my book) and followed the Back to Back Jacks with a big WHIFF……so much for hitting being contagious…..

Robbed a couple times…..would be nice to see him get untracked….or is it on track…..whatever, just start fucking hitting……

FLANNERY
Watched that play over and over hoping to see something that would make sending Freddy a good call…..cant find it…..too close to send him……if you hold him at 3rd you got 2nd and 3rd and 0 out…..if this was earlier in the year when we were starving for runs…..ok, MAYBE then MAYBE….Hey, I am all for being aggressive, but that was just a plain mistake……

I hear Eric Byrnes softball team needs an Outfielder…..and hey, the Dutch Goose has a kick as pastrami…. and if you get cut from THAT team, you can always try to latch on with the Oasis which is cool cause at least the Oasis is better for watching the team you aren't playing with……
