GAMEBALL and JOKER ==> GIANTS at BREWERS 07/07

OK, back from a short "vacation" and then a couple days of sickness and ……lets just jump right back in….

GAMEBALL and JOKER ==> GIANTS at BREWERS 07/07

GAMEBALL

POSEY

BUSTER POSEY IS A GOLDEN GOD!!! Well, so much for not hitting for power…..the kid had a BIG day with 2 bombs including his 3rd opposite field shot of his young career…..hey, if a kid this young can go oppo with power this well……well don’t worry about the power…..look like he has righted the ship after scuffling with the bat for a few weeks…..balanced approach and quick bat with plate discipline and now some POP…..this kid is better than I could have even hoped,….sure he will hit a snag here and there, but I will jump to conclusions right now and call this kid a right handed Will Clark….now how about a single up the middle in game 5 of the NLCS to send us to the series?? too much pressure???

TIP OF THE CAP :
TIMMY
Timmy was a little shaky through 3, but really turned it on once he was staked to a double digit lead…..after that, it was lights out only allowing 1 baserunner after the 3rd……

FSANCHEZ
2 hits including a back breaking 3 run triple in the 4th…..

TORRES
Got the whole thing started with a Homer in the 1st, and added a late 2 run double

HUFF
with 1 out in the 1st got the Giants 2nd run with a SHOT to right…..

RENTERIA
Feasted on the battered Brewers staff with 3 hits in a get well game…..

JOKER

BREWERS

First of all, I have to say this is the team outside our division….we hate the Dodgers, because they are the Dodgers….we hate the Padres, because they are pesky little fucks…..but these Brewers….a bunch of over talented cadillacing assholes who play the game the wrong way……slugging for the fences, and that they do well……but while they are admiring there solo shots in garbage time, they should be thinking about fielding and pitching……good god…..I watch A LOT of baseball, and I have watched the Brewers quite a bit….usually scouting pitchers for my deep NL Fantasy team…..and this is one of the worst defensive teams in the National League…I have never seen so many groundballs find holes, and double plays bobbled…...sure you saw it this series, but this is nothing new……Weeks, Fielder, all butchers…..Mcgehee has no range and Escobar has hands of stone…..good god I would hate to be a groundball pitcher on this team….and here is the fangraphs stats to tell the story but honestly, I think they are even worse than that…..add that defense to a pitching staff that is below average, and you got a lot of high scoring games….and with no bullpen to speak of, that’s why this team is so down this year…….so trade a couple bats for some pitching, move Weeks to the Outfield and get a couple glove for the middle and maybe you can compete…..you got more bats in the minors you can call up…..as long as this team stays so unbalanced towards sluggers, they will go nowhere…….

SMACK OF THE STICK :
HOFFMAN
The all times saves leader brought in down by 14 and you give up a single to a pitcher…..well…..I think retirement may be your best option

MOTA
On a night where the Giants had one big party in Milwaukee…..Mota decided he wanted to "impress" the coaches with a 33 pitch inning with a couple back to back walks

(The fine print: There will be cussing and bad taste. This is written with the heat of the moment feel you may have during the game, with rational thought sprinkled in now and then. This is entertainment folks, sure there is a lot of truth and I am a genius, but this is all about having a laugh and enjoying the ride…….now lets go heckle Jeff Kent in when he gets inducted to Cooperstown..)
