GAMEBALL and JOKER ==> GIANTS at DODGERS 06-20

PERFECT….Just Fucking PERFECT…..I couldn't dream of a better way of winning in LA than what happened tonight…..for all the bullshit meltdowns we have dealt with the last 6 years starting with the Ransom Boot, to being swept at home to end the season, to Ellison letting one roll to the wall, to Hennesey tossing a pick off into center field…..to Romo's gopherball this year....the Giants have found a way to lose to the men in blue over and over again, and usually in the most embarrassing fashion…..but none of the meltdowns the Giants have had over the years was as completely stupid and embarrassing as what those fucking blue ass clowns did to themselves tonight…..yes, this was the perfect win……a game we did not deserve, but won because the Dodgers just plain fucking SUCK…….

GAMEBALL and JOKER ==> GIANTS at DODGERS 06-20

GAMEBALL

TORRES

Well the opportunities presented were just opportunities…..and ANDRES CASHED HIS IN BIG TIME with a ringing double into the gap to plate the tying and go ahead runs…..you gotta love this shit…..jumping on a belt high fastball down the plate to deal the game winning blow….for his only hit of the game…add to that hit, gunning of a freshly bruised Kemp trying to go to third…man, nothing should piss off a hit batter more than getting gunned down on the bases…....hope you are all believers by now, he can hit, he can catch, he can throw and Andres don't look like he is stopping anytime soon…..just keep it rolling Andres, keep it rolling into October…….

TIP OF THE CAP :
BOCHY
Rarely does a manager get this much love, but sorry….I can't give a gameball for that…..big sure, but Torres was the one that came through…..with Torres' swinging a hot bat and Broxton cold as of late, you can't say that Torres wouldn't have come through either way...but on top of that I do have Bochy credit for getting 3 1/3 while tempting fate with Casilla and Bautista, and then sticking with Affeldt in the 9th with Romo warm…..

PANDA
Well, another game in the books, and another walk and came around to score the Giants 1st run and then he laced a shot down the left field line for a big 2 out 2 run double in the 6th to bring the Giants with within 1……

AFFELDT
Was the man again tonight, coming in for the save getting Ethier to K as the tying run at the plate

POSEY
Singled in the insurance run, and singled as part of the 3 run rally in the 6th….

BAUTSITA/ CASILLA
Neither was in control, but when you look up at the score board……They Did Their Job…

URIBE
Couple singles, including legging out an infield hit to start the 9th……he's a lot faster than he looks when he needs to be……sure Furcal had to charge and field it in the hole, but with his gun, I thought he had a shot…..I was wrong, it wasn't even close…….

ROWAND
Laid one down and took one in the ass……oh yeah, he also had a good bunt and hit by pitch…..

LINCECUM
Not really sure where to put him…..probably in line for the smack of the stick…..but the way things turned out, and for being the one on the Giants who FINALLY had the balls get some fucking revenge…..well, tip of the cap to you little man

JOKER

MATTINGLY

Managers have few ways to affect the outcome of the game…..the roster and the game decide most of the moves in the game, and honestly there are more ways for a manager to LOSE the game than win……and Donnie Baseball showed us a new one tonight…and not only did he completely blow it with a "Manager Balk"….. but when the Umpires called him out, he stood there like a 8 year old girl being scolded…..he coulda thrown a tantrum and gotten tossed and bought time for the pen to get ready, instead he let Blake be the vet on the field and do the arguing for him……as it stood, Sherrill barely had time to finish his Wal Mart job application before coming into the game

SMACK OF THE STICK :
TORRE
The whole bean ball thing took over the game…..after Lincecum hit Kemp and both benches got warned, it seemed the Dodgers were more concerned with getting ahead in the HBP department then winning the game…..and furthermore, how the hell is Mattingly in line to manage…..after warnings were issued and the bench coach was ejected, the #3 guy actually having to manage became a very real responsibility…with the game on the line Bowa has to be in charge, sure Mattingly is your guy and you want to groom him to follow in your footsteps…..but when Mattingly thinks turn those footsteps into a pitching mound polka…..well, you are a jackass

KERSHAW
With the state of the Dodgers bullpen and starting staff, you are counting on big innings from your ace…..but Kershaw decided it was more important to get ahead in the HBP war and put the tying run on base to lead off the 7th, after only 6 innings…..yes, the pitch count was up to 103, but Kershaw coulda easily finished 7 innings, and handed the Dodgers pen a lead with 2 innings to go instead of 3…..and that coulda been huge…..

PAUL
And of course, none of this woulda been possible without our Rookie Manny replacement, doing his best Manny imitation out there in left……perhaps thinking the Burrell's ball was gone, let it hit off his glove to set up Sandoval's 2 run double……

(The fine print: There will be cussing and bad taste. This is written with the heat of the moment feel you may have during the game, with rational thought sprinkled in now and then. This is entertainment folks, sure there is a lot of truth and I am a genius, but this is all about having a laugh and enjoying the ride…….now lets go heckle Jeff Kent in when he gets inducted to Cooperstown..)
