Hitting in the 8th spot ain't an easy assignment for a youngster, but Manny finally got his bat on track…..sparking what little offense the Giants were able to muster with 2 hits, 2 runs and 2 walks…..and a steal…….The Longshot Kid, who never hit a lick in the minors, has matured before our very eyes, turning in a solid rookie season and followed up with a scorching spring………I got the feeling the best is yet to come with this kid and this certainly won't be his last GAMEBALL

AGAIN Marginal Big Leaguer Scott Hairston haunted the Giants….first leading off the 1st inning rally, second by making an unbelievable backhanded stab at the wall in left center, and lastly by nailing a 3 run BOMB to center which drove a stake through the Giants heart.

Was lucky to get out of the game down by 4, I swear this guy gives up the most baserunners I have ever seen by a pitcher how maintains a spot in the rotation….
