Giants return home, Joe Martinez returns to the team (well….not on the roster) and all is well with the world once more……..The Giants dazzled with the D, Dominated with the pitching, and got some timely hits in what was the type of Game everyone envisioned the Giants would play if they were to win…….a tight 1-0 game with a added insurance run in the bottom of the 8th……..with Timmy and Randy up in the rotation suddenly 3-7 don't look so bad…….

Jon shrugged off the disappointing end his San Diego start and was in control from the get go….getting through 6 2/3 innings before being lifted……4 walks but only 2 hits…..in the 1st and 7th……..add some defensive support and Jon gets the win and the GAMEBALL

On base all day and converted a nice play in Left……a little lacking in the base stealing department, but hell its just nice to watching the ball actually find his mitt now and then
